Admission Requirements
General Studies Diploma Program
Admission Requirements:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent: Applicants must be high school graduates or possess an equivalent qualification. Alternatively, individuals aged 19 or older are eligible to apply.
- English Proficiency: Applicants must meet one of the following English proficiency requirements:
- A minimum score of 500 on the formal TOEFL, 61 on the TOEFL IBT, or 5.5 on the IELTS.
- Successful completion of an in-house TOEFL test conducted by UPC.
- Four years of full-time education in Canada or another English-speaking country.
Business Administration and Management Diploma Program
Admission Requirements:
- Post-Secondary Education: Applicants must have completed 60 or more post-secondary credit hours.
- English Proficiency: Applicants must meet one of the following English proficiency requirements:
- A minimum score of 500 on the formal TOEFL, 61 on the TOEFL IBT, or 6 on the IELTS.
- Successful completion of an in-house TOEFL test conducted by UPC.
- Four years of full-time education in Canada or another English-speaking country.

English as a Second Language Diploma Program
Admission Requirements:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent: Applicants must be high school graduates or possess an equivalent qualification.
- Age Requirement: Individuals aged 16 and older are eligible to apply.
Student Statement of Rights
United Pacific College is certified by the Private Training Institutions Branch (PTIB) of the British Columbia Ministry of Advanced Education and Skills Training.
Your Rights and Responsibilities:
- Fair and Respectful Treatment: You have the right to be treated fairly and with respect by the institution.
- Enrolment Contract: You are entitled to a student enrolment contract that includes:
- Tuition fees and any additional program costs.
- The institution’s refund policy.
- Requirements and geographic location of any work experience included in your program.
- Approval status of the program by PTIB or an indication that approval is not required.
Ensure you read and understand the contract before signing it. The institution must provide you with a signed copy.
- Dispute Resolution: You have the right to access the institution’s dispute resolution process and are protected against retaliation for making a complaint.
- Tuition Refund Claims: You can make a claim to PTIB for a tuition refund if:
- The institution loses its certification before you complete an approved program.
- You were misled about a significant aspect of your approved program.
- Claims must be filed within one year of completing, being dismissed from, or withdrawing from your program.
